Wildlife Habitat and Forestry Consultation

Chippewa County works with the Department of Natural Resources and national wildlife organizations to provide free onsite consultation to assist rural property owners to manage rural parcels.

This service is beneficial to landowners who would like to:

*Enhance their property for wildlife or songbirds.

*Plant prairies or restore native plant communities.

*Manage and improve forested areas and woodlots.

The results of efforts by individual landowners help improve biodiversity and quality of our local environment.
